I’ve recently discovered that not only are there people out there who compose music specifically for trailers (or at least, make music that Hollywood wants to use often) but then also sell it online.
And it’s awesome!
There are two I’ve discovered so far that actually sell their music – Two Steps From Hell and Immediate Music. There is also X-Ray Dog but unfortunately they don’t sell to the general public.
It’s music which is great to write to – so inspirational and epic. I have visions of huge battles and heroic moments while listening, and dream of writing an awesome battle scene with that music in my headphones.
